japanese inspired triptych of sparrows fling around bamboo painted on to gold metal leaf. A symbol of prosperity !
I used to be a restorer of Japanese lacquer and screens in Ladbroke Grove in the eighties ( yes I am that old!!) so I love painting Japanese style images... Always on my mind when ideas are flying around.
