“Briar’s portrait is the second commission that I have done for Briar’s family. She is a young spaniel who joined them as a companion for their labrador Jake, who I sculpted previously in a sitting pose for in a tabletop size. Briar was a beautiful girl with big soulful eyes, and was very friendly and obliging during her sitting.”
