Inspired by Scottish River Swims where the pools are so deep and rocks so high. Jump into the whisky water with your eyes closed and a smile on your face.
The 'Free-spirited Swimmers' Series are all Cyanotype Photograms. Using different textures, coloured filters and hand drawn images I create a handmade, actual size negative or contact sheet, which is then used to produce the cyanotype image. This means each image can be reproduced. BUT whilst some may look similar the variable nature of cyanotype means that no two can ever be exactly the same, making each one totally unique and an original.
