An original handmade paper collage of the beautiful lighthouse in Southwold, Suffolk.

This collage is made up of a variety of paper materials that are relevant to the scene including;
the lighthouse's founding history, French, British and Dutch stamps and the history related to the famous Battle of Solebay, Adnams ephemera, local maps and in the hot air balloon the truly amazing Marie Marvingt who was guided to safety by the light of Southwold lighthouse when her balloon flight got caught in a storm.
The road down to the seafront is made of the famous song 'Oh I do like to be beside the seaside'.

This picture is FRAMED in a simple white wood frame with ivory mount. A description of the contents of the collage is signed and attached to the back.
