Artwork description:

This is a multi layered collograph print. The inspiration for this print was the contrast between the aged wooden quay and the shiny city skyline. The collograph printmaking process was ideal for me to use in order to explore this contrast. In this print I was able to physically distress the printing plate and also have areas of flat colour. This is a view I see frequently on my walk along the Southbank. This print is comes mounted in an archival window mount and backing ready to be framed in a standard sized frame.

Materials used:

Traditional oil printing inks, Somerset satin paper
