Following 2 weeks on the Isle of Lewis and Harris immersed in mountains bays and the machair, Paul has produced a series of Hebridean inspired paintings. South to Uist takes its inspiration from the gleaming channels and jutting headlands and islends of the Island coastline. The use of paint applied with palette knife and spatter effect heightens the ruggedness and movement in the artwork.
