A prolonged spell of SE weather exposes the rock slabs on Lopness beach and drapes them with broken ware and other detritus washed up out of the North sea. The farm on the horizon and it's associated outbuildings is that of Lopness and the lighthouse on the extreme right is the vertically striped Stevenson lighthouse on Start Island.
