On the streets of Pantelleria I had the feeling of moving between scenes arranged for me in an already decided path and of being guided to review familiar places as born from memories.
But if memory turns to the past from what has already been experienced, these memories turn in the opposite direction to the present. These new but familiar and well-known countries are the most lucid state of ourselves, the tangible revelation of who we are"
