Artwork description:
Using my vinyl records for inspiration with the thought that they hold sound. Making new marks into them they now hold ink too and print beautifully.
The records were quite difficult to etch into because of their existing grooves but with perseverance the design was drawn into the vinyl and a new label was hand printed.
Materials used:
Vinyl plate on 300g Somerset printmaking paper.
