Title: "Soul breathe v2"
Technique: Acrylics on Premium cotton canvas, thick edges with pine frame.
Size: 76 x 102 cm
Ready to hang.
Portraits and flowers have been always my main theme, this time I did a delicate an detailed portrait of a ginger woman surrounded by inspiring peonies.
My inspiration is based on the feminine fragility, a blank stare, the internal universe of someone full of thoughts. Sometimes we have a though times where we can get lost in our minds, our problems and struggles doesnt let us see easy can be things. Nature always give us clarity and wash our head of clouds.
Im doing these series after loving my ink drawings that Ive been doing... I enjoy so much painting details to the flowers, I like to find out how their shapes dance depending on the flower type. For these these series I had very clear that I wanted something a bit more minimalistic in terms of color thats why I decided that I wanted a very detailed scene with the flowers around the main character, and using a limited colour palette on the face or body of the subject. I tried first on paper because I wanted to explore and see If I loved the effect and this is the result in a big canvas. Im loving it.
