Olena managed to catch this brief moment when the girl just made an eye contact with someone she liked. Despite her indifferent pose, the girl’s eyes, red cheeks, and a slight smile - are clear signs that some cautious flirting takes place… Clear distinctive brushstrokes and thick layers of paint clearly mean that the artist was focused to transfer to the viewer the essence of the object rather than any details, which is very typical for impressionism and post impressionism.
