This a portrait of jazz great saxophonists, Sonny Rollins. Granted, this is a much younger Sonny (he is about 90 in 2021).
Sonny Rollins is credited with being one of the most influential artists in modern jazz. He has won three Grammys and numerous other awards during his 7 decades career. He has played with such jazz greats as Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk and the Modern Jazz Quartet. He recorded over 60 albums in his career.

SONNY is a one of a kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a one half inch border all around. The painting will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
