Framed and ready to hang on the wall, this teal and blue mountains abstract is a blend of blues, greens and turquoise colours framed up in a slimline float frame.

The image was made on the clifftops of the Isle of Skye in northern Scotland close to my studio looking over to the small islands of Rona and Raasay. The light and colours of these islands are often muted by mist or rain softening as if melting into the horizon leaving only outlines and impressions of the rolling hills.

Printed on museum quality canvas and float framed. Float or tray frames create a small frame around a canvas that is already stretched on a wooden frame. There is a small gap between the tray frame and the canvas which gives it the appearance of floating in the frame. See photos for options.
Float frame is app 0.5 inch moulding at 1.2 inches deep with a small gap between picture and tray frame moulding. See close ups for details.

Back of frame is neatly finished with bumper pads on corners to protect your walls and an easy hang sawtooth system to hang on the wall. All you need to do is take it out of the box and hang it up.
