Original artwork description:

This painting is made following my visit to a Russian village in Ural Mountains. My daughter and I took a walk in the evening in the fields near the village, on the top of the hill, when the sun had just disappeared behind the Ural Mountains. The painting is inspired by the nostalgic memories of the place, warm golden light created by the setting sun, an atmosphere of quiet solitude and peace, with a girl running in the fields, enjoying the last hours of the summer evening. It was the end of July, but it felt like the end of summer, when in the Urals the greens start to turn yellow and red, helped by the glow of the sunset.
