Original artwork description:

'Somewhere' is an original painting on white plexiglass created using a mix of techniques with the build up of layers, paint and inks to create texture and depth. This abstract painting features a rainbow of colours including metallic and iridescent paints, blue, red, green, purple, silver, gold and copper.

This painting is part of my Interwoven Series, which continues my Life's Tapestry theme exploring the idea of the varied paths we travel and the deliberate and the unintentional changes of direction that we make along the way.

Plexiglass is an unusual and a challenging surface to paint on - two of the reasons I choose to work with it! :-) I also love the reflective qualities of the surface and the 3d-like aspect it gives to my work.

This abstract art is created on high quality white plexiglass. The plexiglass has a back frame, which is not visible, and is ready to hang. The painting sits approximately 9mm off the wall due to the back frame, giving an almost 3D effect.
The painting is varnished.
The work is signed on the front and the back.
A Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
