Light and shadow seem to change quickly in the city during the day as buildings come in the way of the sun. This piece was inspired by the thought that the change in direction of our lives can sometimes happen as quickly as a shadow showing up on the street. Or a light that shines around a corner as a car comes into view. When our path is clear we should enjoy that moment and realize around every shadow or trial we might come across in this life there is always light and hope around the corner.
