Springtime is in the air but an ice-cold wind is blowing. A thin layer of snow reminds us of winter. The air is crisp, the light and the colors tickling for Summer!
This monotype is made with three layers of acrylic paint on a home made gelatine plate and after drying colored in with Karisma soft colored pencils.

Printing gives me the pleasure of surprise. It always turns out different than expected. This triggers new ideas. My monoprints often consist of multiple layers of paint printed on top of each other. After the printing process I also draw or paint on the prints again.
