Original artwork description:

The title says it all! My hairy hound Bailey has been having problems with his back and at one point it looked like we were going to lose him but happily he is still with us so to celebrate I wanted to paint a smiling wire haired dachshund.

I've used all sorts to create this portrait including acrylic paint, ink, pencil and pastels which have been sealed with satin varnish on a canvas board H20 x W16 inches.

Just to remind you he is on board so will need to be framed or can simply be propped up on a shelf perhaps.

Materials used:

acrylic paint, crayon, pencil, satin varnish
