Original artwork description:

These were junk shop and flea market finds - a working brass compass, and a tin of glass marbles, some a bit chipped and scratched, and all very well used.

I laid them out on a piece of white tablecloth, and painted them as the the sun flooded in from the left hand side.

This painting is unframed, but is on a deep stretcher with painted sides, so can be hung without the need of a frame.

Materials used:

Highest quality artists' oil paint on cotton canvas.
