Original artwork description:

A very handsome Zebra in royal blue and purple tones.The stripes look far better in blues rather than plain old black; at least in my humble opinion.He looks as if in deep thought, and that inspired the title.
I have used very permanent Winsor and Newton pigments and 100% acid-free,artist quality Hahnemuhle watercolor paper to create this painting. The background has been left blank to accentuate the subject,and to give the painting a very contemporary feel.
I only use the white of paper in my paintings to maintain the freshness and transparency of watercolors.
