This is a small, experimental series of works featuring chairs. I wanted to provide the viewer with the opportunity to break the boundaries, the template, between the painting and the space. The empty chairs are not there by chance. I intentionally left them vacant and arranged them in a chaotic order. In this series of paintings, the chairs seem to invite the viewer to enter an already created world, to find themselves in a pre-existing situation and emotions. This can be achieved through the power of imagination. Imagine stepping into the painting and experiencing the entire plot, as if you are living this story.
In the painting "Solitude in the Room," a person sits in the corner, lowering or covering their gaze. I aimed to emphasize the atmosphere of everyday, room-bound stories. The wallpaper with its astonishing ornamentation is quite amusing, playing with the viewer. The person seems like they should be feeling sadness in the room, but is it certain that they feel it, or is the empty room playing a role? I leave the interpretation of the plot entirely to the viewer's imagination. Now, try to return to the painting, enter it, and take a seat on an empty chair. Look around, what do you see?
