In many of my paintings, this one included, I try to capture a certain emotion: joy, sadness, hope, disappointment, etc. The emotion can be expressed in the facial appearance of the subject, the use of color (or lack of) and in the surroundings. In the final analysis, the emotion is up to the viewer, not the artist.
Solitude #2 is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

. This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It is mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch wide painted border. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
