During monsoon the fishermen can't go out on the boats, so many of them resort to fishing from shore with for a couple of months. This fisherman is using a line, rather than the much more popular dragnet.
This is from my ongoing series 'Son of a Beach', started in 2015 with an exhibition in Majorda, Goa and currently unfinished.
Materials used:
Epson fine art inks on Hahnemule 308gsm art paper with matt finish.
