Revisiting the previously sold out big Blue Series again, Here i have deliberately intensified the complementaries to increase resonance until the colours vibrate on the eye.

In this work the landscape morph's from a realistic and traditional style of painting (distant trees) toward a foreground painted in an expressive and gestural manner. The result is a strange alliance between the 2 worlds relying on our brain telling us what we know to be corn/grass/trees ......

Oil on cotton canvas over wood frame, painting will come completely ready to hang with edges painted, brass hanging rings and cord supplied. A sealed in signed certificate will be applied to the rear.
