This palomino horse has been knocking on the doors of several of my works. But he managed to enter only this one.
⠀
Originally, this canvas was meant to feature a chestnut stallion that I was painting on commission. But, as happens from time to time, the main character of the painting left, choosing a different space for himself. For a while, the canvas remained "lost" and hung idle for a couple of months. Then, I heard Him again—the palomino horse.
⠀
He leapt into the painting, instantly transforming the entire space around him and bringing a friend along. The friend entered the painting quietly, hiding behind the palomino, trying not to draw attention. Then, he spread his snow-white wings.
⠀
Recently, winged horses have been visiting my paintings more and more often. Where do they come from? Why do they keep appearing to me? I still don't understand, and they aren't saying much about it.
⠀
I don’t know who this palomino horse is. But he has been so persistent in coming to me over the past few months. I’m glad he finally found his place on the canvas and decided to stay. Where is he running? Who is he trying to reach? I don’t know yet. But judging by his expression and demeanor, he’s clearly running with purpose, not just wandering through the universe. He’s running, listening to the solar wind and discovering his own path.
