This painting is part of my 'Flower Chakra' series. This yellow gazania flower design is representational of the solar plexus chakra with its radiating burning brilliance. The fractal patterns within flowers are a constant inspiration to me, I love their intricate perfection. This painting was made using watercolours and gouache in the initial stages and then the finer details were added using colored pencil and acrylic pen.
