Shimmering shades of gold painted and gold leaf butterflies take flight in this abstract and dramatic piece. Gold leaf sits in the background of the butterflies to create movement and depth.

This is another beautiful and unique piece in my series of gold butterflies, in a smaller frame that can easily fit in any home.

Every butterfly is cut, folded and glued with precision. The delicate raised wings create beautiful shadows, which give the artwork movement and variation in different lights. I paint three layers of high quality artist acrylic to obtains a rich pigment. This piece is framed in an acrylic black box frame with glass front.

I ship within 72 hours of an order. Your artwork will arrive carefully wrapped in cardboard and I use recycled materials wherever possible.
