Sometimes I love my iPhone photos so much, I develop them into photo etchings. The top floor of this classic New York building caught my eye during a visit in 2014.

Unlike most of my work, this is not a hand drawn image, but a handmade print of a photograph (which has been developed onto a photo sensitive zinc etching plate, using chemicals and a light box). The final effect however, is very different: by selecting areas to leave on or take off ink, a spooky, almost vintage feel has been created.

The plate is inked and polished by hand each time, making every single print in this limited edition of 40 truly unique, individually signed and numbered.

Orders are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between layers of mountboard and dispatched signed and tracked within four days.
