An oil painting in a contemporary, expressive style of the soft light spilling through an avenue of trees.

The initial layers of this painting have been built up and blurred, recreating the soft and daydreamy atmosphere found in Kew Gardens on this summer's day. I have then overpainted with bold brushstrokes to illustrate the lush weight of the trees, and to contrast with the sunlight gently filtering through onto the path, that recedes into the distance.

Ready to hang.
