Original artwork description:

This is one of a series of works using my preferred medium of oils, including cold wax medium.
I tend to work in an intuitive way - therefore, my thought processes guide me rather than direct, observed information. I often start off with the choice of the colour palette and then that leads on to the development of a piece of work. In this case, I must have been thinking of the sea and possibly harbours. I live close to the sea, so its often crops up in my work.
