Social Distancing_x000D_ This work is about coming to terms with living with an incurable chronic illness. In my case narcolepsy. It’s an acceptance after the denial phase _x000D_ This is painted on loose canvas can be stretched on to bars or just put in a frame unstretched I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
