Original artwork description:

“The longer you look at an object, the more abstract it becomes, and, ironically, the more real.” Lucian Freud

Over the last few months, the world has indeed gone mad, and my heart goes out to all those who are affected and sadly lost their life because of Coronavirus.

I wanted a little humour in my work and had this in mind when I painted Going going gone and Steak and chips which had a lot of interest and brought a smile to people so I have decided to continue until this madness is over.

We Thais like to order a lot of food and share the dishes, I went into a restaurant with my daughter and they had social distancing in place with 2 people to a table sitting opposite each other with a dividing screen down the middle of the table.

We ordered our food but it was very difficult to share as we normally would with this screen between us, I thought this would make a great painting in my Social Distancing Series.

My paintings hang in private and public collection round the world. Including some iconic places like; Amsterdam, Bangkok, Berlin, Chicago, Copenhagen, Dubai, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hamburg, Hong Kong, London, Munich, Monte Carlo, Malibu Beach, Monaco, New York, Nice, Paris, Rome, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Zurich & Taiwan.

COMMISSIONS:  I would be delighted to create you a unique work, whatever size you need or colour palette.
