I started to work on this painting outdoors in the beautiful sunshine, with the quietness of lockdown 2020 and the sense of peace and healing in the air. Not long into my painting session and the birds singing extra beautifully, some figurative forms started to appear. This baby dear head appeared from the shade entangled with a white eagle taking flight. The deer represent instinctual energy, independence, and regeneration, which stems from their antlers being shed and re-grown each year. An eagle represents leadership and authorities, leaders and high achievers. They are visionaries who believe in the power of expanding their self-discoveries and striving to reach greater personal freedom. Beautiful fitting message for the world.
