Original artwork description:

Painting of a pug.

One of the cutest dog breeds. Amazing big eyes!
Will be happy to find a new home and bring lots of positive energy to the new owners.

This is very detailed artwork and in spite of being done with pastels is called painting because the surface is perfectly covered (few layers) and no paper shows through.
Using pastels when painting animals gives me an opportunity to achieve a wonderfully luscious, velvety texture and deep, rich colours.
The great advantages of the pastel paintings are that it will never crack, yellow or darken over time. When properly framed and securely hung, the particles will stay fixed in place for centuries.
PLEASE NOTE:
Colours on the original painting can vary slightly from the online picture due to the camera and monitor settings;

Materials used:

soft and hard pastels, coloured pencils
