Artwork description:

Developed in Japan during the 1980s, Shinrin-yoku is the practice of ‘forest bathing’ and involves spending time in the forest stretching, meditating, inhaling tree aromas and generally appreciating the forest! This linocut print shows an image of snowy branches in the North Yorkshire woodland during the winter.

It is a limited edition multi-block print on Seawhite Cupcycling paper using Lawrence oil-based printing inks. The printed area is 20.5cm x 30.5cm and the paper size is approx 29.5cm x 42cm giving a generous margin to allow for framing.

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork. All of my prints are flat packed if delivered within the UK, and will be sent packaged in tissue and a tube if delivered outside of the UK.
