Original artwork description:

Reaching up to grab a lemon for a recipe is a newfound luxury. Splash it against the San Jacinto mountains is an unquestionable delight. The snow pounded down hard above 3,000', creating such a contrast between the lemon branches, lemon and thick, crusty whites. Using a brush, fingers and palette knife, I pushed and pulled the paint to find the right combination of textures and composition.
