Original artwork description:

The sunlit snow is what inspired this painting. I wanted to get out and paint in the snow but I was busy with a studio painting and couldn't pull myself away. Instead, in the late afternoon, I headed up to Sioux Passage Park with my camera and took a lot of reference photos I love trees and the shadows they were casting in the bright sunlit snow were all it took. I had to paint this scene. I hope you will feel some of what I felt seeing this magnificent snow scene.

This painting has won numerous awards and has been exhibited nationally. I truly don't understand why I still own it. The painting is gallery wrapped and doesn't require a frame. It is ready to hang on your wall.
