Original artwork description:

I love the starkness of trees in winter. I enjoy being out on cold days, taking in the colour and light when I walk. One of my favourite things is when the first bulbs come up out of the frozen ground.
This small oil on board was inspired by those cold, blue, February days when the snowdrops show through the muddy earth.
This painting has a mount that I made myself in my studio which measures 34.7 cm x 27.9 cm. It will fit nicely into an off the shelf frame but looks good displayed just in the mount.
