Original artwork description:
Snowdrops
This artwork was completed in two stages. First a watercolour wash was applied and allowed to dry, then snowdrops were painted on in a considered manner, my own photos were used as references. Lots of splatters were used to finish off - I like how there seems to be a feel of the little snowdrop flower heads bobbing up and down in the breeze.

Saunder's Waterford paper 300gsm, Daniel Smith artist quality watercolour paints
