I painted snowberries several times now, it's almost a tradition for me to find some, on my walks, this time of the year (September/October).
This time I was fascinated by how the afternoon light was falling on the green vase creating soft shadows and reflections of green on the white cloth creating a subtle harmony of whites and greens.
Painted alla prima, from life.
