Snow White and the Dead Dwarf 9x12 Preparatory Painting_x000D_ _x000D_ This is a small painting in which I conceived the idea for a much larger painting probably 6ft by 4ft. So this the birth of the idea in a 9x12 I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
