552-Snow on the Camera, Dec 2017, Oil on Stretched Canvas (70cm x50cm)
Normally in snow we keep our heads down. The only way to do this and see architectural wonders is to get a high vantage point. Here I have found a view of the Radcliffe Camera, in Radcliffe Square, and Catte Street, Oxford, as seen from somewhere above the University Church of Mary the Virgin, with bits of Brasenose College and All Souls College. The weak winter sun is shining through the snowflake filled sky.
Oil on Stretched Canvas, unpainted sides, varnished.
