This was one of those surprise March mornings when everything had been dusted with snow. The sun was out, casting those long, blue shadows across the snow. I was captivated with the colours of the fresh green set against the cool blue hues and the deep purples in the hedgerows. Incorporating expressive impasto brush strokes, this piece is painted with high quality archival oil paints on a stable mdf canvas board and is varnished to protect the surface.
