Original artwork description:

This original painting is one of my dearest works both literally and figuratively. This is the garden of my house under snow in downtown Tbilisi. The climate of Tbilisi is very mild, and it rarely snows. Even rarer that it stays for a few hours. That year it stayed the whole day, as though to allow me to capture its calming beauty. The wonder was double, since it was the Christmas Day! It is really dear to me, since it was the only day when I could paint the garden under the snow, and also the next year the garden was redesigned and completely changed. It is the only picture of my garden as I knew it since my childhood under the snow. Painted on a gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted white, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front with my initials in Georgian "Z" "Sh" (ზ.შ.).
