This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on canvas. This painting is one of a new series of exciting works that epitomize certain techniques and an aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. The streaking colors are both vibrant and messy, mixing, overlapping and crashing over each other on the surface to create a beautiful play of color and form. Heavy texture also exists on the surface and edges of the piece to give added depth. As I was painting it, structures began to evolve and appear as colors pop out at you, while others fade into the background. The texture in this piece is extreme and adds an earthy element. The colors are more muted and mysterious and have an icy or snowy feel to them, as if the bold colors have been frozen and are beginning to thaw out in the spring. It has a definite holiday/Christmas feel to it and is a truly unique abstract painting like no other.

Note: This painting is painted on hand-stretched canvas and comes hang ready with the edges painted blue. Framing is not necessary, but up to the preference of the collector.

This painting is signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
