This wintry abstraction of a mountain range has been achieved using oils and charcoal. There are a variety of techniques using palette knifes, brushes and fluids (mixed with several different materials). The colours are both muted enough to make the painting sit well in any interior but magical enough to still make a statement. Traces of gold have been subtlely laced into the sides of the mountain.
Mountains are a recurring motif in my portfolio - they invoke awe and wonder and this brings us closer to the sense of a Creator or Intelligent Designer.
