Original artwork description:

I've always loved analogue photography, perhaps even more so as digital phone cameras have become more and more prevalent in society. I have a pretty big collection of old school cameras, some that work, some that don't work but look great on a shelf.

This painting depicts my classic retro Lomography camera. It's a beautiful old-school plastic camera with a polka dot pattern on the top (as seen in the photos), but it's a bit of a pain to get working. I've painted the camera being help by a blonde female figure who is about to snap an image.

The end result is a pleasing piece of retro pop art that would brighten up any room in the house.

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame for display purposes.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
