Artwork description:

The composition of the "Snake II" is built with geometric shapes and bold patterns. Bright blue, red, yellow and white figures are placed against velvety, grey background. The “main character” of the composition is a pink, curved shape. This is a graphic representation of a snake. Snake is a very important symbol across different cultures and religions. It intrigues me because of its ambivalence: while it symbolizes vitality, energy and fertility, it also refers to a darker side of our existence.

It is hand pulled limited edition screen print. Printed with acrylic paints on Southbank Smooth paper. I used 7 different colors, which makes the whole process of making quite difficult as you have to print each color separately. The print has small imperfections which add tactile quality to the work. The print is signed in the front.
For shipment will be carefully packaged rolled in a tube.
It looks best while framed.
