I noticed this snack seller in the town of Aihole, which is a historic site in Karnataka, India famous for its Hindu rock architectural monuments. He was one of the numerous vendors catering to the few tourists outside the famous temple complex. At that time of the day, there were hardly any visitors/tourists, I could see that he was kind of waiting for customers and thus I tried to capture his look of anticipation through this work.
This is painted on toned paper with opaque watercolor paints. Signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
