Artwork description:

A hazy evening view of the Grand Canyon from Lipan Point on the South Rim of the National Park in northern Arizona. The aerial perspective and colour was enhanced by the smoke carried over hundreds of miles from Californian wildfires as well as back-burning on the North Rim creating this atmospheric view of this natural wonder of the world. The increased drought and heat is making this a regular event sadly which seems to become more intense as each year passes due to climate change and mankind's contribution to it. This is an entry for the Octopus Energy Art Prize - Portraits from the Precipice.
